5: Enhancing
product development opportunities and policies
This
project focuses on supporting the management of regional
research projects, and on enhancing the development of
an enabling environment for R4D, technology adoption and
diffusion.
This project will also include support for harmonisation
of biosafety regulatory implementation in the region, as
well as the development of a vision and strategy for a
strong bio-resource economy, biosafety and research
management.
This
project will involve 8 scientists from 6 institutions
from 5 countries. The project will retool personnel on
policy issues through short courses. Background
