BIO-EARN's
Programme Advisory Committee (PAC) gives technical input to the
Programme, evaluates the Programme Research Fund project
proposals, and advises the Governing Board and Regional
Coordination office on various Programme implementation issues.
On 6
July 2006, BIO-EARN's Governing Board appointed nine
renowned local and international experts to compose the BIO-EARN
Programme Advisory Committee.
The
Programme Advisory Committee held its first meeting on 7 October
2006. During this meeting, PAC members unanimously elected
Professor Jamidu H Y Katima as
Chairperson and Professor Jane Morris as the Vice Chairperson.
